USA: Republikaner Todd Akin spricht in diesen und anderen Fällen von Vergewaltigung von “legitimate rape” und verlangt von vergewaltigten und dadurch schwanger gewordenen Frauen allen Ernstes, das Kind in jedem Fall auszutragen. Ein krasseres Beispiel für rape culture hat es in der letzten Zeit wohl nicht gegeben.
